seeks a Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at

Mount Sinai Medical Center/Miami.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida through a unique associated program between Columbia University’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Candidate(s) must be board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and of national recognition. This is an academic position at the Professor level. The Chief of Orthopedic Surgery will be intricately involved in the design and development of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mount Sinai/Miami and will be a part of the academic and clinical community at world-renowned Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The position requires the individual skills to build and develop a new innovative Orthopedic Surgery Department at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, including interacting and working with voluntary and full-time faculty, developing a cutting-edge research oriented and world-renowned program.

Requirements

Minimum Degree Required:  M.D.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be…
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Eligible to practice in the State of Florida
- Fellowship trained in an Orthopedic Surgery sub-specialty
- Hold national recognition

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare administration and as Orthopedic Surgery Chief of Service
